THE DESIGNER

Bella Borromeo is a Filipino Fashion Designer who's signature style incorporates elegant sweetness and ethereal flow to every gown, accentuated by hand-crafted detailing and embroidery from her skilled team. From intricate beadings and details on her couture wedding gowns to clean, simple silhouettes for her luxe evening gowns, she always makes sure to complement the personal style of her clients with the her own.

Her mission is to make each woman look and feel beautiful through her designs. For her, the perfect dress must complement each woman's natural beauty because confidence is the final touch in every outfit. 
 All of this started as a dream when she was still young. Even in Grade School, she has always been a self-professed fashionista and has always loved dressing up herself and those around her. In school plays in Assumption, she has always taken the role of the costume designer, winning yearly awards until she decided to turn her dreams to reality.
 She took up Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design and Merchandising at the De La Salle College of St. Benilde, working as a freelance stylist, designer and student and moving on to be featured in magazines such as PeopleAsia and Cream Magazine. In 2016, her dress was worn by MayMay Entrata for her TV Spot in Tonight with Boy Abunda.
 In 2017, Bella Borromeo launched her debut Bridal Collection, Hiligugmaon during her college days. Its main focal point is to highlight the purity and the sweetness of every bride during their special day. In 2019, A Moderne Love Story was created as her sophomore Bridal Collection. In the heart of this collection is the modern bride - strong with a sprinkling of femininity and delicate romanticism. With simple silhouettes, accented with delicate embroidery and dainty beadings, the pieces of this new collection flaunts the true beauty of our heroines as they open another chapter in their very own tale.


Her works have been worn by Julia Barretto for her November Metro.Style highlight, featured on Preview Magazine, Jonah Viray, Morisette, Kiana Valenciano, Sitti Navarro, Joja and Jai Pangan, and Sue Ramirez. She is also a familiar face to fashion events, being invited to Milan and New York Fashion Week, and also big Bridal events such as Brides and Beyond, Bride and Breakfast's Deals Fest and Entwine 2019 as a featured designer, with her creations strutting down the runway alongside prominent Filipino Designers.

As a designer, she knows that her clients want to have the perfect gown of their dreams on their special wedding day. She believes that you, as a bride, have that inner beauty that's just waiting to be released and she aims for you and all her brides to glow on their big day. With the use of silhouettes that accentuate your body type, lacework, tulle and custom beadings and embroidery, she makes sure that you look and feel timelessly classic and positively beautiful!
